So I recently finished watching Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni (When They Cry) FINALLY! I know it’s a pretty old anime but I never got around to finishing it and I finally did and oh meh gerrr!!!! SO GOOD! >< So worth watching all those episodes! It really built it up to the ending… :3
Anyway, So apparently, Hinamizawa, the town, was based off of the real village, Shirakawago, Gifu. :O Even the Furude Shrine is based off of the village shrine, Shirakawago shrine.So here are some comparison pictures that I found… >< I LOVE IT WHEN ANIMES BASE PLACES OFF OF REAL LIFE PLACES LIKE OMG. <3 (i’m such an otaku… orz)
